This is the view from my daughter's bedroom window. At no time in the week I was there was the door ever clear of cars. At no time did the door ever open. I think the man in the driver's seat might have been a terrorist. He looked very startled when I took this pic, then got out of the car and followed me to the door of the flat, while I tried to tell him why I was taking his picture and frantically unlocked the door. I left him talking to himself on the sidewalk.
I recently got caught taking a photo of a car in the parking lot of the hardware store. It was a ridiculous little car with twenty huge antennas on top. Just as I was snapping a few shots, he came out of the store. He gave me an evil look and instantly, I was pretty sure that he was some kind of deranged, backwoods serial killer.

I was hoping the American accent would just make him think I was a idiot tourist, not far from the truth actually, but thinking back, perhaps that was the worse part. I realized later that there was a child in the back seat. I saw a nursery school teacher grab the camara out of the hand of someone who was taking pics of her charges on the street in UK. We live in a parnoid world Mist.
ReplyDeleteI just hide behind trees (or lamp posts) when I take shots of people in my environment.

You may look a bit scarier than me Matt, especially skulking behind lamp posts. I'll try it next time but I'll call you for bail money.
